Differences

Differences

Disclaimer: The differences mentioned in this post are just thoughts and intends no harm to any individual or group of individuals.

Hello there. I know it has been more than 3 months since I wrote a post on this blog. I was on a holiday and now I am back to my regular schedule, hence, boredom got me thinking again.

As kids, the only difference we knew (at least the only one I knew) was the subtraction in mathematics. Teacher used to ask to find the difference between numbers. That is when we understand, there are different numbers and no two numbers are the same and there is always a difference between two. Oh wait, weren't the numbers invented by ancient mathematicians who were none other than our ancestors?

As we grew older, we started observing gender. There might be other differences as well, but I am referring to the significant ones. Let us get back to these differences later.

What are these differences that we see in everyday life? Who created them? Why is the world fighting to be one?

This post would seem logical only if you believe in some kind of a supernatural force that exists, which is responsible for the creation of life. The one who created life never wanted it to be the same all over. Every individual living thing was meant to be different. I believe, this is a fact that we have to accept. Neither of us know the reason why we were created differently. What was the intention of the force to make us different?

As we know, there are many races, religions, castes and groups of individuals on this planet. Who is responsible for the creation of these differences? We human beings are responsible for it. Did the creator want these differences among us? Maybe or maybe not. It depends on ones perspective. In my perspective, there are two reasons for the existence of these differences. First, the supernatural force wanted these differences to exist with some motive or just for the survival of the planet. The second being that the force only wanted to have the differences that were created but not made. We may have become selfish and started making these differences around us.

In recent times, there have been many agitations, protests and voices in favor of equality. When the creator never wanted us to be alike how can we fight to emulate it? These natural differences would be there, no matter what we do. We can destroy what we made and eliminate the differences that we have created, but not the ones that the force has bestowed upon us.

But, what if differences were created for a reason? How would the world be without any differences? Would it be really a peaceful place to live without these differences? Or would it destroy the world if everything was similar?

Human beings create differences. I am not referring to the biological or the ethnic differences, but the differences that identify the uniqueness among humans. If something you made is not different from the other, it would never sell. There has to be a difference in everything in the world. It is the key for survival. You wouldn't want to date the same person or marry the same person over and over again throughout your life, would you? ;)

These are my personal opinions and I do support equality in human race but this small thought struck me, what if everyone in the world were similar?
